Sweet Syndrome: A Rare Skin Disorder in Children

Sweet syndrome (SS) is a rare dermatosis of unknown etiology. It characterized by fever, neutrophilia, raised and painful plaques on the skin face, neck, limbs, histologically dermal infiltration neutrophils. Here, we present ten-year-old boy who presented with fever multiple lesions for 15 days. On examination, he was febrile nodular, tender, erythematous rash face limbs. Laboratory findings revealed inflammatory markers neutrophilic leukocytosis, biopsy showed hyperkeratosis dermis. Typical history, laboratory investigations including were suggestive diagnosis SS. Prolonged characteristics in any child should be suspected this syndrome. kept mind as differential day-today clinical practice effective management disease.
